How to successfully create modules

Hi again ...,

First of all, I have full database credentials. I'm trying to create a module in one of my projects using the create command as such : create("Owner", "owner_names", "pre", 1, true)

Unfortunately, this only returns null and therefore, does not create a module. Is there something wrong with the syntax or am I just going about this the wrong way?

Thanks,
Mark

Maybe try to use the DOORS 8+ perms for that:

string create(string name, description desc, prefix pref, int absnum, Module& m)
string create(string name, description desc, int mapping, Module& m)

Make sure your current Folder is set correctly. This works for me:

Module m
print create ("PWN", "AGE", "", 1, m)

You cannot create a module in the database root, you'll need to either specify the full path of the module or navigate to the folder in which you want it created.
